This series of artworks explored the relationship of organic matter growing against and symbiotically with another material. I thought about construction and buildings that grow small weeds and plants over time, often overlooked and too small for interest. I also thought about how some plants need props and tougher materials in order to grow strong and tall and I liked this contrast as it resonated with myself and how often people need a strong person or support system to lean on and go back to in order to grow.

This project also was a celebration and exploration of greenery and perspective where one can see a plants root system and what its structure looks like.
